Richard David, M.D.

Dr. David is a board-certified urologist who is dedicated to offering patients the highest-quality, personalized, compassionate urologic care.  He serves as medical director of Skyline Urology.

Dr. David earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He has been honored to be selected by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of America’s top urologists for five consecutive years.

His clinical and research interests include: minimally-invasive endoscopic treatment for urologic disease; new laser procedures to remove large prostates, including HoLEP; and robotic surgery techniques.  Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. David serves as an associate clinical professor of urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine of UCLA.  He is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons.

Dr. David is a leader in robot-assisted surgery, providing a surgical option that offers his urology patients fewer side effects and a shorter recovery time.  In addition to robotic surgery, Dr. David performs laparoscopic surgery, laser prostate surgery and endoscopic surgery His specialties include prostate cancer and other urologic cancers, as well as men’s sexual health, bladder dysfunction, pelvic floor issues and testosterone replacement therapy.

Dedicated to excellence in clinical research, Dr. David is principal investigator of several clinical trials, working to make new therapies available to Skyline Urology patients – including new therapies for cancer.

Philip Weintraub, M.D.

Dr. Weintraub is a board-certified urologist who treats conditions of the genitourinary system in men and urinary system in women, including urologic cancers.  He earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.  He also earned an MBA at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.  He appears annually in Los Angeles magazine’s list of “Top Doctors” and has received recognition in numerous other publications as well.

Dr. Weintraub treats a broad range of urology conditions, performing surgery for  patients with prostate, bladder and kidney cancers, including minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic approaches.  He also uses minimally invasive techniques  to treat prostate enlargement, kidney stones and incontinence.  These approaches allow for a more rapid recovery and a faster return to normal activities.  Dr. Weintraub also treats male sexual dysfunction, and he participates in clinical research as the principal investigator of several clinical studies.

Dr. Weintraub is committed to ensuring that all his patients understand their diseases and medical conditions as he helps them make the best treatment decisions possible.

Dr. Weintraub has served on the Board of Directors of the Western Section of the American Urologic Association.  He is a clinical Associate Professor of Surgery (Urology) at the University of Southern California.  Along with Dr. David, Dr. Weintraub is a founder of Skyline Urology.
