Dr. Safir is a world renowned urological surgeon and author of the book, Overcoming Urinary Incontinence, a woman’s guide to understanding and overcoming this difficult urological condition.

One of only a handful of surgeons world-wide who has completed an intense six-year residency in urology, as well as two separate year-long fellowships in female (UCLA) and male (UCSF) reconstructive surgery, Dr. Safir represents a forward movement in the field of Reconstructive Urology, an emerging field of ultra-specialized pelvic surgeons.

As a Board-Certified Urologist, Dr. Safir specializes in the field of Reconstructive Urology, treating conditions of the urinary and genital systems in men and women. He has also served as an Assistant Professor of Urology and Section Chief of Reconstructive and Female Urology at New York Medical College.
